Out now via Angèle VL Records and Because Music, the new version sees the New York trio completely reshape the original track rather than simply remixing it, with Shanny Wise adding new vocals that push the song into murkier, more emotionally charged territory.
Originally released by Angèle and Justice earlier this year, ‘What You Want’ paired Angèle’s airy vocals with Justice’s darker electronic production. The new fcukers version leans further into that tension, turning the track into a woozy, late-night spiral of distorted emotion and club-floor catharsis.
The release lands amid a rapidly growing period for fcukers, who have spent the last few years building a cult following through explosive live shows and festival appearances at Glastonbury, Primavera, Lollapalooza and Coachella. Their debut album ‘Ö’ is out now.
