Southern California pop-punk trio Super Sometimes have unveiled 'Learned My Lesson', the latest track lifted from their debut album 'Show the World What's Underneath', which arrives on 15th May 2026 through Pure Noise Records.

Written during a single afternoon session with Hot Mulligan's Chris Freeman, the track marks a deliberate shift in direction for the group.

The band say: "Chris really pushed our boundaries on this track, challenging us not to make just another run-of-the-mill pop-punk song—and that's exactly what we did. With a greater reliance on pop-leaning melodies, synth, organ, and tambourine, the song was intentionally very different from most of our older work in order to let the melodies and lyrics speak for themselves. Taking direct influence from Bloc Party and Hot Mulligan (obviously), this song is a true testament to us being more than just your standard pop-punk band—in the best way."

Discussing the wider record, they continue: "'Show the World What's Underneath' is us staking our flag in the ground as one of the torchbearers of pop-punk. There's a little bit of something for everybody, and our take on the genre will definitely be a breath of fresh air for those who have been looking for something a little different in the scene. We hope it inspires more people to fall in love with pop-punk the same way we did growing up."
The San Diego group are presently out on the road with Arm's Length, The Callous Daoboys and Harrison Gordon across North America, with Japanese dates and Vans Warped Tour appearances also confirmed later in the year.
