Wings of Desire continue their lunar single series with ‘Your Twenties’
The duo's seven-date December run leads up to album 'Stand Still Like The Hummingbird'.
Wings of Desire have shared new single ‘Your Twenties’ as part of their ongoing project releasing a song on every new moon of the 2026 lunar calendar.
The track will eventually form part of the duo’s new album ‘Stand Still Like The Hummingbird’, due on 9th December via the final new moon of the year. Each release in the series is also arriving alongside its own thematic visual piece.
“Your twenties explores the reality of living through what’s seen as being your peak when in reality can often be the opposite, filled with learning curves and hard lessons,” the duo explain. “A nostalgic look at an an era gone by and a hopeful outlook on what’s to come. Some say these are the best years of your life.”
The album is described as a continuation of the duo’s 2023 release ‘Life Is Infinite’, building further on their blend of gritty dream-pop and krautrock while exploring themes of modern acceleration, daily rituals, creation and destruction.
